Tremet BailaBien, sole proprietorship registered in the commercial register under number CH-036.1.092.030-8, based in the canton of Bern (Pieterlen), Switzerland.

Student account: first name, last name, email address, title, phone number and password (stored only in encrypted form by our authentication service, never in plain text).

Bookings and payments: booked classes and passes, participation history, amounts paid. Payments are processed by Stripe: your card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored by BailaBien.

Trial class request: first name, email, phone (optional), town, dance and any message, so that we can get back to you to arrange your trial.

Audience measurement: aggregated and anonymous visit statistics (page views, referral source), collected without cookies and without allowing you to be identified individually.

Managing your account, your registrations, your bookings and your payments (performance of the contract).

Getting back to you following a trial request or a message (your consent and our legitimate interest in replying).

Improving the site and understanding its audience anonymously (legitimate interest).

Complying with our legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

We use service providers who process certain data on our behalf, solely within the scope described here: Supabase (database hosting and authentication), Stripe (secure payment processing) and Umami (cookie-free audience measurement).

These providers are contractually required to ensure an adequate level of protection. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

The site uses only a technical cookie necessary to log in to your account (session). There are no advertising cookies or third-party trackers for profiling purposes.

Our audience measurement tool (Umami) works without cookies: that is why the site does not display a cookie consent banner.

Your account data is kept for as long as the account remains active. You can delete your account at any time from your personal area: your data is then erased, subject to the legal retention periods (in particular the accounting records related to payments).

Trial class requests are kept for as long as needed to process them, then deleted.

Exchanges with the site are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the data is restricted to only the people who need it to run the school, and protected by authentication.

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding your data, as well as, under the GDPR, a right to portability and to restriction of processing.

You can change or delete much of your data directly from your account area. For any other request, write to us at info@bailabien.ch; we will reply to you as soon as possible.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority (in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the site or to regulations. The last-updated date below indicates the version in force.
