Dance classes in Biel

Salsa is danced at Rue du Canal 36-38, third floor, in the Neumarkt building. Bachata and kizomba take place at Rue de Morat 7, first floor, a four-minute walk from Biel station. For Rue du Canal, allow about fifteen minutes on foot from the station, or a few minutes by bus.

No kit needed: come in clothes you can move in and shoes that don't stick to the floor. We take care of the rest.

We start with a few minutes of warm-up and basic-step work to the music. Then comes the move of the day, broken down slowly and repeated in rotation: everyone changes partner regularly. The last stretch is for stringing together what we've covered, often revisiting a move from previous weeks.

That rotation is why nobody needs to bring a partner. It also speeds up progress: every partner leads or follows a little differently, and adapting is where you really learn to dance.

Classes run in series of several weeks, but you don't have to wait for a new term. The first hour is free with no commitment, and joining a series already under way is perfectly possible: you then pay only for the remaining sessions.
